Who I Follow

I am officially Mrs. Christina Ho’onani Shiroma. Yes, we got married on April 7th! Although at first we were going to do a quickie wedding & a ceremony a year later, I’m so happy that we changed our mind & chose to do it right the first time. Every bit of stress, worry, anxiety, nervousness, excitedness..all these crazy, out of whack emotions I experienced leading up to that day, was well worth it. I could go through what could’ve been different, or what could’ve gone smoother, but all in all, I married my best friend that day & that’s all I could ever ask for.

My favorite part of that day? I have 2. I mean, I loved everything, but there are 2 that stand out in my mind. The first would definitely be seeing Ez at the end of the aisle waiting for me. The night before our wedding was the first night in almost 3 years that we spent apart. I was so anxious to see him. The first thing the priest said to us when we got up to the “altar” was, “You guys look like you ready to kiss already!” Hell yes, we were! I wasn’t even nervous to be getting married, but I was filled with butterflies just to see him. My sec favorite part would have to be our entrance into our reception. Just imagine, a room filled with family & friends..standing, screaming, whistling, clapping, getting rowdy..showing their love & support for us. It was surreal. I will never forget that moment.

Aside from all the tedious details, at the center of it all was that I married someone who loves me with all his heart. I married the only person who has never made me doubt his commitment, his faithfulness, or his love. I married someone who I know will stick with me through thick & thin. Not only is he an amazing father & a dedicated provider, but he’s just a one-of-a-kind person. I’m am beyond lucky & infinitely blessed to have him in my life.

to Tumblr, that is. I was over it, but I always get the itch to blog. There are other sites I could blog on, but no one is on there. Tumblr seems to be the mainstream website for blogging at the moment. I tried Wordpress, but it wasn’t the same. I wanted more privacy & that’s what I got, however, I found that I like when people read what I write. So I figured, why not just Tumblr again!? So hello friends, I’m back! :)

I’m coming back! ;)
